About the Role:
You will be responsible for the comprehensive day-to-day maintenance and management of our facilities, overseeing service providers, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting a safe and productive environment for tenants and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building & Facility Maintenance: Oversee daily building and facility upkeep, including cleaning, security systems (CCTV), landscaping, and general maintenance.
- Vendor Management: Manage and supervise outsourced service providers, ensuring all maintenance and servicing works meet contract requirements and quality standards.
- Inspections & Reporting: Conduct regular inspections, identify and report defects, address safety non-compliance, and recommend necessary repairs or improvements.
- Tenant Relations: Maintain strong relationships with tenants, effectively addressing their feedback and queries.
- Tenancy Works Coordination: Facilitate fitting-out, reinstatement, and maintenance works for tenants and contractors, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Compliance & Licensing: Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements and timely renewal of necessary licenses.
- Contract & Tender Administration: Handle contract administration for term contracts and projects, including procurement of goods and services. Assist in the tender process, including specifications, site visits, clarifications, evaluation, and documentation.
- Emergency Response: Participate as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) and assist in drills (table-top exercises, fire evacuation).
- Innovation & Efficiency: Explore and evaluate new technologies to improve productivity and cost efficiency in facilities management.
- Safety & Health: Support adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and building safety standards by assisting in safety inspections, reporting hazards, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented. Participate in safety training to contribute to a safe working environment.
- Perform any other assigned duties as required.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Diploma in Building Services, Facilities Management, or an equivalent discipline.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management or building maintenance.
