Engineer, Facility (Water/ Hook up)

Job Responsibilities:

• Technical Coordination and manage Facilities UPW/DI Water and Waste Water system improvement Programs/Hook Up Projects with support from Operation system assistance engineers across all fabs
• Operate, monitor, and adjust control systems, pumps, valves, chemical feeders, and other equipment to treat water.
• Conduct routine water sampling and perform laboratory tests to assess water quality (e.g. pH, turbidity, chlorine residual).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or process problems.
• Work with Procurement to generate water system project/hook-up specifications, tender documents, tender interviews and verifying progress claims based on work on site.
• Manage projects/ hookup contractor/s to disseminate information, track projects and resolve issues to meet dateline and budget.
• Inspecting and acceptance of the completed water system projects/ hookup equipment being installed before handover end user.
• Compile and submit all tests, correspondence, commissioning reports, acceptance documentation, drawings and proper logging into Facilities Documentation Control.
• Co-ordinate between various internal partners (Engineering, RESM, Facility Operation) and Contractors for expansion / water system hook-up project.
• Ensure proper management and closing of contracts/projects using the proper document, forms and procedures.
• Prepare Work Permits and site verification to ensure housekeeping and safety regulations are complied.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations (e.g. EPA, OSHA
• And any other tasks as assigned by the Section Manager/Department Manager.

Requirement:

• Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronic Engineering.
• Min 3 to 5 year’s relevant experience in semiconductor industry and handling facility related job, would be add advantages.
• Good coordination and communication skill as the job required to collaborate with different department internally and external vendor.
• Proactive and strong safety-conscious mindset
• Familiarity with semiconductor tools/utilities (if in wafer fabs), or HVAC, cleanroom, gas, DI water, exhaust systems, would be add advantages.
