DRAFTER

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CAD Drafter specializing in plumbing systems to join our company . The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing plumbing drawings and schematics for residential, commercial, or industrial projects, working closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure designs meet all applicable codes and standards.

• Develop and prepare detailed plumbing drawings using AutoCAD or other CAD software.
• Create isometric and schematic diagrams of plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, venting, etc.).
• Assist in the design and layout of piping systems based on engineer’s instructions and architectural plans.
• Ensure designs are compliant with local building codes, plumbing codes, and other relevant regulations.
• Revise and update CAD drawings per redlines and markups from engineers or architects.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams to resolve conflicts in design.
• Maintain organized records of drawing files and project documentation.
• Support field personnel by providing as-built drawings and responding to RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Participate in design review meetings when required.
• Responsible for the planning, coordinating, quality and timely completion of engineering drawings.
• Prepare detailed design and construction drawings for C&S works
• Responsible for preparing and producing shop drawings, as-built drawings and/or construction drawings in accordance with engineers’ requirements
• Able to work independently with the responsibility to meet tight deadlines. Develop and maintain CAD Drawings
• Develop dimensional drawings for layouts and non-dimensional drawings
• Revise drawings based on instructions/comments from designers, architects & engineers
• Communicate effectively and work closely with the design team members of individual’s project assignment
• Responsible for receiving, registering, filling and distribution of documents for the detailed engineering section
• Develop computer generated drawings, isometrics, details, plans, schedules and data sheets
• Perform other related work duties as assigned
• Responsible for attendance to daily site co ordination meeting and provide detail co ordination with sub contractors
