Cloud Delivery Specialist [Tampines]

Job Description:

• Configure, maintenance, enhancement and create resolution in the VMware cloud environment.
• Lead the deployment, integration, and operationalization of cloud infrastructure solutions, including technologies such as VMware Cloud Foundation, VsRail, PowerMax (PMAX), Isilon, and Dell Data Domain.
• Experience in scripting (Example: bash shell scripts, PowerShell, Javascript, Node.js, YAML)
• Collaborate with other teams to develop/build automation solutions to drive cloud automation using tools like Ansible, terraform, chef, puppet etc.
• Experience with RedHat Linux, Windows, CentOS, Ubuntu, knowledge of public cloud provider like AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus
• Hands on working knowledge with a high level object-oriented programming language is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, security, database and backup technologies is a plus.
• Manage customer relationships, serve as a point of contact, and ensure customer needs are met.
• Collaborate with operation teams, lead and mentor cloud engineers, and conduct Proof of Concept evaluations.
• Act as a key contact for new business opportunities and leverage customer insights to drive enhancements

Skill Sets:

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably more than 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience
• Strong client and project management abilities coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good team player who can also carry out assignments independently.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills for internal/external stakeholder engagement.
• DevOps/developer certification would be an advantage
