AMHS Associate Engineer

Position Summary

AMHS (Automated Material Handling System) Associate Engineer is responsible for performing periodic maintenance activities, recovery and troubleshooting of daily machines issues. He/she will assist Engineers on machine improvements and spare parts management, updating/revising of work related Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

Responsibilities

• Carry out equipment periodic maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance procedure and safety requirement.
• Assist Engineer on machine improvement and parts testing.
• Maintaining/updating SOP, work procedure and training material or report writing.
• Carry out firsthand repair and troubleshoot on machine breakdown to maximized equipment uptime
• Assist in spare parts inventory.
• Actively involve in TPM, perform routine equipment patrol check or inspection on automation system.
• Assist in any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor as and when necessary.
• Carry out repairs or overhaul of parts for automation.
• Assist in identifying equipment failures, root cause analysis and recommending solution to technical issues.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic) or its equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in AMHS
• Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply

• Strong team player with good collaboration skills
• Possesses strong analytical thinking abilities
• Willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Automated Manufacturing Environment
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controlled (PLC)
• Experience in Automated Material Handling System (AMHS)
