• Position : Accounts Executive (Assist in month-end closing) - Up to $4,800 + 2 Days WFH - Shenton Way
• Location : Shenton Way (Nearby MRT)
• Working hours : 5 Days/ office hours - 2 DAYS WFH
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4,800 + Completion bonus + 14 Days of Annual leave
• Duration : 1 year contract convertible to permanent (GOOD bonus and benefit should you be converted to Perm staff)
• Industry : Shipping

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the month-end closing process by preparing entries as well as
• reviewing postings made by outsourced service provider relating to Accounts
• Payable & GL
• Prepares balance sheet schedules/ monthly/ adhoc reports
• Assists in the preparation of schedules for the purpose of corporate tax filings as well
• as various surveys as required by Department of Statistics/ other authorities/ Head
• Office
• Support the review, implementation, and improvement of systems, processes, and
• controls
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional accounting qualification with at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding in systems and strong excel skills
• Must be a Team player and good interpersonal skills
• Able to communicate clearly in English orally and via emails
• Ability to start work at short notice will be an advantage
• Experience in shipping industry will be an advantage
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.
